Transnational Corporation of Nigeria Plc (Transcorp) released its financial results for the period ended 30th September 2018, showing revenue growth rising from N56.76 billion in 2017 to N79.86 billion.

The growth represented a 40.71 percent increase year on year.

However, the company’s Profit Before Tax (PBT) grew by 95.94 percent to close at N17.7 billion from N9 billion in the third quarter of 2017.

Similarly, the tourism industry entity’s Profit After Tax (PAT) also increased by 95.02 percent, closing at N15.96 billion from the previous close of N8.2 billion in the corresponding period in 2017

The earnings per share for the period under review is N0.39, advancing by 95.02% from the previous EPS of N0.2 in the third quarter of 2017.

With the reference price of N1.37, the Per Earnings ratio of Transcorp is 3.51x with the earnings yield of 28.47 percent.
